01 — Operator and scope
Petrutban Technologies operates and publishes petrutban.com and the public project pages made available through this domain, including QEVARO documentation. This policy applies to petrutban.com.
Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected]. Security and vulnerability reports can be sent to [email protected].
02 — Data processed when you use the website
The website can process ordinary request and security information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Depending on the hosting and security infrastructure, this can include an IP address, request time, requested path, user-agent information and security events. Infrastructure-side retention is not defined by this source repository and can depend on the active providers and their settings.
If you contact Petrutban Technologies by email or another clearly identified contact channel, the information you choose to send can be processed in order to receive, secure and respond to that communication.
03 — Google Analytics 4
With your consent, petrutban.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a Google measurement service, to understand how the public website is used. The measurement ID configured in this website is G-82B5MQHFN5.
Google Analytics does not load on a first visit before a choice is made. Rejecting analytics keeps the Google tag unloaded. Accepting analytics causes the Google tag to load and measurement to begin from that point onward.
According to Google's current Analytics documentation, data that can be collected by default includes page and interaction information, session information, browser and device details, and approximate location information derived from signals such as IP address. This website does not describe that measurement as anonymous.
- Purpose: understand use of the public website and identify content or navigation that may need improvement.
- Consent basis: analytics is optional and is enabled only after an affirmative analytics choice.
- Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization consent signals remain denied in the website implementation.
- The source implementation sets Google Signals and ad-personalization signals to disabled and does not set a Petrutban user ID for GA4.
04 — Analytics cookies and retention
After analytics consent, GA4 can create first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Google currently documents a default expiration of two years for these cookies. This website does not override that default cookie lifetime in source code.
Cookie lifetime is different from Google Analytics property data retention. The actual event and user-data retention setting selected inside the GA4 property cannot be determined from this repository, so this policy does not claim a specific account-side retention period.
05 — Consent, refusal and withdrawal
Necessary browser storage can be used where required to provide a requested site function or to remember a privacy choice. Google Analytics is not treated as necessary.
You can reject or accept analytics from the first privacy layer. You can later reopen Privacy choices from the footer, switch analytics off or on, and save a new choice. Withdrawing analytics consent disables further GA collection in the website and removes accessible first-party _ga / _ga_* cookies associated with this host where technically possible.
Removing browser cookies cannot erase information that may already have been received and retained by Google before consent was withdrawn.
06 — Recipients and international processing
When analytics is enabled, analytics data is transmitted to Google as the provider of Google Analytics. Google publishes data-processing and measurement terms for its services. For European controller data, Google's current measurement terms identify Google Ireland Limited as the Google end controller where those controller-controller terms apply.
Google states that international transfers can rely on mechanisms including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for eligible transfers and Standard Contractual Clauses where an applicable framework does not cover the transfer. The mechanism applicable to a particular processing operation depends on Google's service terms and processing context.
07 — Third-party resources
Some pages contain links to third-party services and some editorial pages can request media from third-party hosts. A link alone does not contact the destination until you open it; embedded or remotely hosted media can contact its host when that media is requested by the page.
The current global layout does not load the former MyWOT badge script. The Gridinsoft security assessment shown in the footer is a normal outbound link and does not load a Gridinsoft badge resource automatically. The Kanzi memorial video archive can request YouTube thumbnail images and loads the YouTube iframe API only when video playback is initiated.
08 — Legal grounds for other processing
Where personal data is processed outside optional analytics, the applicable GDPR legal basis depends on the specific operation. Website and security processing can rely on legitimate interests where appropriate; responding to a request can be necessary to take steps at your request; consent is used where the law requires a freely given optional choice.
No legal basis in this policy is intended to expand processing beyond what the website actually performs.
09 — Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent. The availability of a particular right depends on the processing and its legal basis.
To make a privacy request, contact [email protected] and describe the request sufficiently to identify the relevant data without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. In Romania, the supervisory authority is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), whose official website is dataprotection.ro.
10 — Children
The public website is not designed to intentionally collect children's personal data. If a minor contacts Petrutban Technologies, they should avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary personal information.
11 — Security and data minimisation
The website uses technical controls intended to reduce unnecessary processing and protect the service. No website or network can offer an absolute security guarantee.
Optional analytics is kept separate from necessary site operation. The privacy preference itself contains only the analytics choice, a schema version and a timestamp; it does not contain a tracking identifier.
12 — Changes to this policy
This policy may change when the website's purposes, providers or privacy implementation materially change. If a material change affects the purpose for which analytics consent was obtained, the consent schema can be incremented so a new choice is requested.
